Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

OfferPresenter ("we" or "us") is a web application at offerpresenter.com that helps real estate agents build offer packages and compare the offers on a listing. This policy describes what information the service handles, how long it is kept, and which third-party services are involved.

2. Information we collect

Account information

Accounts are managed by Clerk. When you sign up, Clerk collects your email address and login credentials. In OfferPresenter you then enter your name, brokerage, phone number, and optionally a logo. This information is used to identify your account and to produce the letterhead on your cover letters.

Documents you upload

You upload PDF documents such as purchase agreements, pre-approval letters, proof of funds, addendums, and counteroffers. These documents often contain sensitive information: buyer and seller names, property addresses, financial terms, and contact details for agents, lenders, and other parties.

Content produced for you

For each offer package we store the extracted offer terms, the cover letter, and the email draft. For each comparison we store the extracted terms for every offer and the comparison grid. This is what appears in your history.

Automatically collected information

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers and we do not place advertising cookies. Clerk sets the cookies needed to keep you signed in. Standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and access times for security and operational purposes.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Create and maintain your account and letterhead
• Read your uploaded documents to extract offer terms and produce cover letters, email drafts, merged package PDFs, and comparison reports
• Keep your package and comparison history available to you
• Serve package PDFs through the share links you create
• Respond when you contact us about your account or the service
• Keep the service secure and working

We do not sell personal information, we do not use your documents to train any model, and we do not show advertising.

4. How your documents are processed

Uploaded files are stored in Vercel Blob storage at unlisted addresses. To extract offer terms, the contents of each document are sent to Anthropic's API, where a large language model (Claude) reads the PDF and returns the structured terms that you then review. The same service drafts the cover letter and email from those terms.

Anthropic processes this content under its commercial terms, which state that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models. See Anthropic's commercial terms and privacy policy.

5. How long we keep things

• Uploaded documents are deleted automatically about 24 hours after upload. They are only needed while your package or comparison is being built.
• Generated package PDFs are kept while their share link is valid, which is 30 days from when the link is created, and are deleted after that.
• Extracted terms, cover letters, email drafts, and comparison grids stay in your history until you delete them or your account is deleted.
• Your profile and logo are kept for as long as your account exists.

To delete your account and everything associated with it, email us at the address below.

6. Third-party services

The service runs on the following providers:

• Clerk: accounts, sign-in, and session security.
• Anthropic: reads the contents of your documents to extract terms and drafts cover letters and emails, as described above.
• Vercel: hosts the application and stores uploaded files and generated PDFs in Vercel Blob storage.
• Neon: the Postgres database that holds your profile, history, and share links.
• Sentry: error reporting. Error reports include technical details about what went wrong, not the contents of your documents.

Each provider maintains its own privacy and security practices. No other third party receives your documents or your personal information.

7. Data security

All traffic to and from the service is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Sign-in is handled by Clerk, uploaded files live at unlisted addresses, and every request for your data is checked against your signed-in account. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can delete individual packages and comparisons from your history at any time. For anything else, including full account deletion, email us at the address below.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.

9. Children's privacy

OfferPresenter is for licensed real estate professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change is posted means you accept the updated policy.
